yos, but not until it's fixed. as it is 1.14 is an absolute shitpile, even more laggy than 1.13.

Thought the server was the issue. So 1.14 is laggy?

yes, far worse than 1.13. a lot of servers have rolled back to 1.13.2 (which is already laggy). mojang didn't fix whatever was causing the lag with 1.13, and it still persists in 1.14. only chunk generation + loading is now trash as well...
