I cannot like CS with the totally useless crosshair. It's way too unintuitive.

I reinstalled CSGO today, too.

I'm a skreb, because:
1) I don't know the maps at all
2) It'll take me ages to get used to the crappy crosshair

Well the standard CS Go crosshair is really bad.

it's not about the looks, it's about the fact the crosshair is totally and utterly useless, because it doesn't correspond to the actual location where the shots will go at all. the recoil of the gun can go in a huge 7, Z, I or whatever pattern and the crosshair will move upwards a tiny bit instead. The bloom is not displayed by the crosshair at all, it just changes its size depending on your state (standing, crouching, walking, running) and how long you hold down the mouse button up to a maximum. The gun might as well still be perfectly accurate with no actual bloom at all or have a real crosshair bigger than the entire screen.

All this means you have to aim at a totally different spot that you actually want to hit and makes shooting (and more importantly hitting) stuff highly unintuitive and a stupid thing you're forced to get used to/learn.

I also dislike the lack of feedback when killing/hitting an enemy. The latter is most probably because I run the lowest settings and cannot see blood.

I just don't see the point of having a crosshair at all if it's totally useless like that. Imagine we had something like that in WOT. O wait, without servercross WOT's crosshairs are like a lite version of CS regarding their uselessness.

Well how should a crosshair look like that corrensponds to the recoil?
The recoil is pretty simple it first goes up in a straight line and then switches left and right.
So when you do a up to 10 shot spray just pulling the crosshair down works fine. So you should allways move your mouse down how much you need to do it depends on how many shots you fire.
Pretty simple.

Just make the crosshair move exactly like the recoil pattern?

It is simple, but it is very unintuitive and serves no purpose whatsoever, which makes it difficult to learn and accept, respectively.

Actually I think it would be more confusing your way cause the pattern changes pretty fast.
