I played a bit. I have bot stats. Itrs a bit like playing tog 2 with a bert on its back every game. the only real fun I had was with the destroyers.. they play something like a light tank with a waffentragers gun...

well thats only partial true, they removed a lot of the ships that could stealthfire.

The wot camo system is pretty static, every ship has a fixed distance on what it can get spotted ( you can improve that with camo / captain skill ), the range increase when you fire your gun, how much depends on the ship your are playing, but those stats are given.

Most of the time you will see what is shooting on you, except they sit behind an island or sitting in a smoke screen and you will see when you are spotted.

I like it more than WoT (no surprise there), it is a bit slower but overall more enjoyable and tactically relevant i think.

I don't think you can directly compare WoT classes with WoWS, considering how even lower tiers can be dangerous with torps or by causing fires to enemy ships.

You can try german battleships and american cruisers as a start. For DDs, go for the japs or americans
